D&B Maxi-Mini-Con 

A whole weekend of games, good company, and cosy vibes — run by Dice & Balls CIC at Sherbrooke Scout Campsite in Calverton. Come for a day or settle in for the full weekend and play to your heart’s content.

Weekend pass: £30 per person. Limited spaces — please book early.
Day options are also available.

What’s on

  • Play board games all weekend — from quick party games to chunky strategy titles.

  • Dungeons & Dragons sessions — beginner-friendly and great for returning adventurers.

  • Live roleplay (LARP) tasters — light, story-led activities suitable for first-timers.

  • Giant board games — big, bold and very tactile.

  • Hosted tables — our team will teach games and help you get started.

  • Evening fire pit (weather permitting).

  • And more… bring a favourite game to share if you like!

Who it’s for

Everyone! New players and old hands are welcome. Come solo, with friends, or as a family.
Under-18s must come with a responsible adult.

Accommodation (optional)

On-site accommodation is available at the campsite. Indoor Dorms with bunk beds are included in the weekend pass (Please bring your own bedding)

What to bring

  • Comfy clothes and a refillable water bottle.

  • Your favourite games (optional — we’ll have plenty).

  • If staying over: bedding and toiletries.

  • A torch for moving around site after dark.

Food & drink

There’ll be breaks across the day. You’re welcome to bring your own food.
We’ll share any on-site options or nearby suggestions in your pre-event email.

Accessibility & wellbeing

We want Mini-Con to be welcoming for everyone. The main activities are indoors; outdoor areas include some uneven ground. If you have access needs (mobility, sensory, hearing or visual), please tell us on the booking form or contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to support you. A quiet space will be available for anyone who needs a breather.

House rules

Be kind, be patient, and include others. No realistic weapons with costumes.
Photos may be taken for our social media — let a staff member know if you’d prefer not to be photographed.
