Get your costumes ready – Dice & Balls is bringing you Arnold’s Halloween Celebrations for 2025! We’re running three free, family-friendly events across 31 October & 1 November in Arnold, Nottingham. Expect spooky vibes, creative fun, and plenty of community spirit.
What’s On
1) Halloween History Mystery Walk
Join local historian Bob Massey for a guided amble through the creepy history of Arnold, with a little Dice & Balls twist. Hear tales of eerie landmarks, curious characters and unexplained goings-on. Family-friendly (children aged 7+ and accompanied by an adult), atmospheric, and perfect for Halloween night. Bring a torch and your best spooky outfit!

2) Halloween Art Trail (made by local schoolchildren)
This year’s trail features art created by children from local schools! Wander the high street and spot the artworks in shop windows. Write each title/number on your trail sheet, then bring your completed sheet to Eagle Square to claim a Halloween Treat Bag.
How it works:
- Find the artwork posters in participating shop windows.
- Note them on your trail sheet.
- Hand the sheet in at Eagle Square for a Treat Bag.
- Costumes optional but encouraged! 👻
3) Fancy Dress Competition
Show off your best spooky, silly or handmade outfits. Judged by the Mayor of Gedling, and all are welcome, including pets! Small prizes and big cheers for creativity and effort.
