We’ve Moved! Dice and Balls Has a New Home at Studio 8
We’re so excited to share some big news—Dice and Balls has moved into our new home at Studio 8, The Old School Business Centre, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 6LD!
This new space holds a lot of heart. Not only is it right in the centre of the Arnold community, but it’s also packed with personal meaning—Zoe’s children went to the old Church Drive school, and Phire taught circus skills in this very building. Now, it’s come full circle as we move in with our board games, knitting needles, juggling clubs, and big dreams.
Why the Move?
More space, more fun!
Studio 8 gives us room to grow, host bigger sessions, and welcome even more of you in. Whether you’re rolling dice, picking up a new hobby, or just popping by for a cuppa and a chat, we’ve now got the space to make it all happen comfortably and creatively.
We’re still all about bringing people together, easing loneliness, and sparking joy through play, creativity, and community. And now, we’re doing it in a building that already means so much to so many.
A Place Full of Memories
Since we opened the doors, we’ve had lovely folk drop in just to look around—some because they or their children used to go to school here. There’s something magical about seeing familiar halls come alive in new ways.
One young D&D player walked in, looked around wide-eyed, and simply said:
“Wow!”
That moment kind of says it all.
What’s On?
Even with the move, our calendar is buzzing as ever!
Here’s what’s happening:
- 🐣 Two weeks of Easter activities running throughout the Easter Holidays
- 🎲 Games Nights every Wednesday and Thursday—our community favourite
- 🐉 Dungeons & Dragons sessions continuing on Sundays
- 🧶 Knot Just Knitting Social Group every Thursday—crafting, chatting, and lots of laughs
